The purpose of the organization:
The Boyle St. Co-op is community resource center that assists people who live on a low income, have multiple social problems, are street involved, or have mental health concerns. The Co-op offers practical problem-solving to overcome barriers in meeting daily needs and client directed case management and crisis intervention.

What we do:
Services available at the Co-op include a drop–in center, outreach programs for adults, young adults and youth, family support including Health for Two, a housing registry, a mental health program, and adult literacy program, Street Works , a harm reduction program and Stepping Stones, out of home care for children.

The Boyle St. Edmonton Centre is a public charter school offering a holistic education program for engaging out of school youth in learning. The Alberta curriculum is offered in conjunction with incentives and support services. All school elements are design to meet the needs of a dominantly aboriginal student population.
